Our #1 goal for these children is to enable them to get an education, which is something they will not get without your help. I’m sure you agree that schooling is an important first step for any child. We have negotiated with a school that is not too far from their village, to accept 10 students on a trial basis. Going to school will be a challenge for the students as they cannot read or write. The school has graciously offered, and will provide, individual tutoring to ensure they are successful.
Our ultimate goal, and one we are hopeful you will help us achieve, is to build and start a school of their own. A school just for them, one that has teachers that can provide any special attention that they may need, whether its learning to read or write, or develop social skills. A school we have designated as Global Angels Academy. A school that will provide their education from the beginning. A school that will be closer to their village. A school where their tuition, uniforms, books, pencils, paper, pens, and food are all covered, so they can focus on learning.
